Expand your musical horizons this summer while having fun with your friends! We offer unique full or half-day programs for ages 3-17, as well as a series of one day, “mini” camps. Programs include Preschool Music, Rock Band, Build-Your-Own-Ukulele, Songwriting, Intro to Guitar and more!

Music Immersion Camp: Ages 6-17
Go deeper in your musical studies through fun, interactive games and projects with your peers! Previous music experience recommended.

Session I: Mon-Fri, July 8-12

Half Day: 10 am – 12:30 pm - $195

Rock Band: Ages 8-17
Learn rock songs, improve your musicianship and stage skills, rehearse as a band, and perform for your family and friends on the last day. Songs will be chosen among requests made by the participants themselves, which makes the learning process even more fun!
Monday-Friday, July 15-19
1 – 4 pm, performance Friday at 4
Pre-requisite: Basic proficiency on your instrument, usually a minimum of one year of lessons. You may be asked to demonstrate your ability before enrolling. Minimum of 4 students, maximum of 8.
Intro to Guitar Camp: Ages 8-17
Want to play guitar? This camp is a great way to get started! Learn the fundamentals of the guitar in a fun environment with your peers. You’ll learn how to tune the guitar, play chords, read music and tablature, and play basic songs. Participants should bring their own guitar

Simply Music Rhapsody: Preschool Music Camp for Ages 3-5
Based on our Simply Music Rhapsody program, a fresh approach to early childhood music, children’s musicality and creativity are developed through singing, playing instruments, as well as by movement, puppets and visuals.

Session I: Week of July 15-19 – “Animal Fun”
Hear the story and music from “Peter & The Wolf,” play instruments that imitate animal sounds, and make fun animal crafts.
Session II: Week of July 29-Aug 2 – “Meet the Instruments”
Learn about the different instruments and their sounds, and make your own instruments to take home.
Session III: Week of Aug 5-9 - “Around the World”
Learn about different cultures and their unique music styles, and sing and play along to songs from different countries.
$200/week or $50/day
These mini camps are one day only, 3 hour sessions. Mini camp, maximum fun!
Build-Your-Own-Ukulele: Ages 8-17
Definitely one of our coolest offerings this summer. Assemble your very own ukulele (from a pre-fab kit) and start strumming right away! You’ll also learn about the history of this small yet popular instrument, how to tune it, and a few basic chords that will allow you to play tons of songs. You’ll get to take your ukulele home along with diagrams and song sheets so you can keep practicing on your own, or you can also enroll in ukulele lessons here at the school to really hone your skills!

Songwriting Mini Camp: Ages 8-16
Unleash your inner songwriter! Explore musical form, harmony, and melody, as you learn the basics of how to write a song. We’ll take a deeper look at certain songs, from Pop and Rock to Classical, to gain a better understanding of how these great songs were written, and then we’ll experiment with creating our own compositions. This fun and interactive camp will have you inspired in no time! A minimum of one year of music lessons is recommended
Tuesday, July 30th
1 pm – 4 pm
Vocal Workshop: Ages 10-16
Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or a complete beginner, you’ll polish your vocal skills in this fun and informative workshop. Learn more about the anatomy of singing, breath control, acoustics, safe ways to warm up and expand your range, and how to use properly use a microphone. Experiment with some vocal jazz improvisation and learn a fun ensemble piece with your peers.
Wednesday, July 31st
1 – 4 pm
Music Recording: Ages 8-16
Want to know how to make awesome sounding recordings? This session will teach you about microphones, acoustics, and the basics of recording. We’ll utilize free music software that you can use to record yourself or friends at home. You’ll also get a recording of yourself to take home!
Thursday, August 1st

Intro to Violin: Ages 6-10
Want to play the violin? This camp is a great way to get started! Learn the fundamentals of violin in a fun environment with your peers. Learn the basics of bowing, fingering, and reading music. This camp is the perfect foundation for anyone interested in playing the violin. Participants should bring their own violin
